HomeWorks takes single storey garden rooms to a whole new level. Our design and build service creates totally bespoke, high-end, home-quality garden spaces from scratch. We take all your requirements into careful consideration from footprint size/shape to stylish finish and build you the comfortable additional room you need to make a difference.
It’s an all year, all-round practical solution – extra space set apart from the hubbub of the home, yet only a convenient stroll down the garden path. Perfect for an office, great as a get-away – it could put any need-to-move feeling at bay for now and be a sound investment for the future.
Garden rooms from HomeWorks are not off-the-shelf prefabricated units, slotted together to a set pattern with one-style, one-colour cladding and a limited range of glazing options. Our professional team is made up of highly experienced designer-builders, joiners and double glazing design and installation specialists. Because we understand all the options, HomeWorks can create your bespoke garden room by really listening and supporting you through the decisions as well as delivering on the practical build itself.
Whatever you want your garden room to be, we never compromise on quality. From the groundworks, timber-frame build and rubber roofing to the cavity wall construction, insulation and high specification glazing, we design, plan and carry out every job professionally in agreed time-frames and using only products from top manufacturers.
HomeWorks have a real get-it-right mentality. We totally understand that it’s so often the little things which make all the difference in our handcrafted garden rooms. We are always customer-focused and pride ourselves not just on getting the fundamental things of any build right, but in paying real attention to detail and going that extra mile.
From sourcing specific door or window furniture to bespoke engraving of joinery, we can deliver the fine finish and individual stamp you are looking for.
Lighting, heating, sockets, network cabling, security cameras – ensuring your garden room or office has all the right utilities for comfort, productivity and peace of mind is a hugely important part of even the smallest garden room build.
But what if you want handwashing facilities and/ or a loo installed to make things really convenient or fancy including a kitchen corner or even full-blown kitchen facility? If you are planning a gym, a wet room might be on the cards. Or if you’re dreaming of a hot-tub on the adjacent patio, you might love the idea of having a loo, shower and changing room to hand.
Whatever you want your garden room to be, the HomeWorks team can make it a reality.
Electrics
These are a pretty standard requirement in any garden room build. We will survey your site and suggest the best solution to get you connected with minimum hassle, whether the location of your additional space is close to your home, another powered outbuilding or in a slightly more remote position in the grounds of your property.
At HomeWorks we are not only able to put electric heating, internal and exterior lighting and security systems in place, but can put you in control of them at a touch of a button too. Why not ask us about our smart electrics technologies?
Water
A water supply is a common requirement too, whether you want to be able to make that all important cuppa directly in the work place or have a convenient garden tap to keep those planters on the garden room patio topped up and looking beautiful. We can design you garden room with a simple cold water supply, or put in place a hot water system as required and arrange any necessary grey water disposal system too.
Waste water disposal
At HomeWorks because our garden room buildings are totally bespoke, we can plan to include all the amenities you need to bring your new space totally into your comfort zone. Unlike many other garden rooms installation companies, we will arrange appropriate ground works and services connections (site permitting) and install any of the following:
We often think that your garden room is only half of the story. A terrace, decking or patio set out to complement your new indoor garden space could double the usable space when the weather lets you fold back those glass doors and invite the outside in.
Dot it with planters and sculptural plants or decorative features of your choice and you can soon transform and change the view you have from your new office – and from your home and garden too.
From block paving, slabs or shingle to timber or eco-friendly decking, we can plan and put your perfect patio terrace in place as part of the garden room build – leaving you to park yourself under the parasol or go to town at the garden centre!
